Handheld Remote Controller
The handheld unit allows a user to operate many basic functions
without the need of a Laptop and Wi-Fi access point in the field.
The simple touch screen based controller gives users more freedom
to operate the vehicle and manage field operations seamlessly.
Once the intended set of missions are planned and placed onto the
AUV, the stand alone controller can load, start and stop missions,
look at instruments and manually drive the AUV for launching or
retrieving. The wireless controller provides excellent surface
range (300 plus meters) and automatic “drive to me” feature.
